The Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP) a 12-week programme to equip startups with the basic skills required to launch and run their businesses at the early stage of their growth.The programme will bring together the best tools and frameworks to teach and hone entrepreneurship skills in Africa and globally.

The Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme #TEEP, a Pan-African entrepreneurship initiative of the Tony Elumelu Foundation, is a multi-year programme of training, funding, and mentoring, designed to empower the next generation of African entrepreneurs.

PURPOSE of The Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Program

Identify 10,000 African startups and entrepreneurs with ideas that have the potential to succeed

Grow the businesses through business skills training, mentoring, access to seed capital funding, information and membership in our Africa-wide alumni network

Create businesses that can generate at least 1,000,000 new jobs and contribute at least $10 billion in new annual revenues across Africa

The SU Startup Lab Accelerator

Welcome to the first accelerator program built specifically for startups tackling humanity’s grand challenges leveraging exponential technology.


In an intense hands-on 10-week experience on the Singularity University campus in the heart of Silicon Valley we will take startups from prototype or early proof-of-concept to scale. Starting with a one-week Bootcamp experience, the SU Startup Lab Accelerator team will guide you through four two-week long sprints, each focused on a different area of your business.

At each step along the way you will receive guidance, advice and feedback from some of the most accomplished experts in their respective fields, plug into Singularity University’s programs and initiatives and meet with our Impact Partners and Fortune 500 companies. Weekly speaker series, share-outs and review session round up the overall experience.

We provide investment to give you runway throughout the program, a co-working space at NASA Research Park, a structured program offering and the best Singularity University has to offer – all with the goal to help you build products positively impacting humanity at scale.

The Falling Walls Lab offers young academics, professionals, and entrepreneurs a high profile platform to showcase their innovative research to a panel of luminaries from the worlds of academia, research, and business.

There’s no one model or discipline that they are  searching for – last year’s London submissions spanned cultural frameworks, education programmes, organic chemistry research and graphic design solutions from bright young students, professionals and PhD researchers.

Who Can Apply
Masters students or PhD candidates, young professionals, scientists, or entrepreneurs from all disciplines, under the age of 35, are invited to apply. The Lab is open for participants from all countries. Willing participants will apply their idea and if successful, present at The Falling Walls Lab in London
Global Reach

Falling Walls is a global phenomenon. Last year’s three London winners were joined at the Berlin Finale (usually held on November 9, the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall) by participants from Sao Paulo, Johannesburg, Los Angeles and Moscow to name a few.

In 2014, the participant list continues to grow, expanding to a total of 20 countries and, bringing an ever-increasing diversity of initiatives and inspiration to a larger and larger audience of investors and the public.
